Commercial Growth Review

Can the business show how it sells and grows? I examine the commercial engine, the evidence behind it and how clearly the growth story can be explained.

When this option is appropriate

The Investor Readiness Review shows that the commercial story is unclear, weakly evidenced or disconnected from the funding ask. It can also be used separately when a founder wants an independent view of how the business currently sells and grows.

The purpose is to expose gaps, sharpen the commercial questions and establish practical priorities, not to produce optimistic growth claims.

What I examine

  • What the business sells and the value customers are buying
  • Who buys, who decides and which customers matter most
  • Customer acquisition and the route from interest to sale
  • The sales process, conversion points and common obstacles
  • Pricing, revenue model and repeat or recurring revenue
  • How sales are expected to grow and what must be true for that to happen
  • The measures and KPIs used to track commercial performance
  • How the commercial model connects to the funding ask and milestones

How the Review works

Step 1

Map the current engine

Clarify the offer, buyer, sales process, revenue model and growth assumptions.

Step 2

Examine the evidence

Review the available commercial information, measures and performance signals.

Step 3

Identify the gaps

Highlight unclear logic, weak evidence, missing measures and priority questions.

Step 4

Set practical priorities

Agree what needs to be clarified, measured or strengthened next.

What you receive

  • A clear view of the current commercial model
  • Observations on the customer, offer, pricing and sales process
  • Gaps in the evidence supporting growth claims
  • Questions an investor is likely to ask about sales and growth
  • Priority measures and commercial issues to address
  • A practical findings summary and debrief

A clear boundary

This is an independent commercial review, not outsourced sales management, financial due diligence, accounting advice or a fractional CFO service. Where specialist work is needed, the Review should make that need clearer.

Commercial clarity

Show how the business sells and grows.
